The file 'Key To Unlocking The Secrets Of The Brain 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 288.8KB.
OK, this key won't physically unlock the secrets of the brain, but it can be helpful to those in the field of neuroscience. It can be a source of inspiration, inside joke, conversation starter and it even makes a great keychain.
A quick and easy print, this makes a great gift for your local neuroscientist or anyone interested in the mysteries of the brain. Add a split ring and you are all set.
The key has been scaled up from a standard size to something a little more substantial. As such, it will not unlock any locks.
Warning: Do not attempt to unlock your brain by inserting this key into your ear, nose or mouth. That's not how it works.
UPDATE: 7/20/17
I have been having trouble slicing the original file so that it would print without falling apart. I went ahead and added a bit that does deviate from the original key blank more, but it now prints much better and doesn't even require any support. BrainKey_2.0.stl has been posted and BrainKey.stl has been removed.
UPDATE: 7/24/19
I have noticed a lot of these breaking, so I have completely removed the unsupported area on the underside of the key. It is much more robust now. Please use BrainKey_Robust_2.stl as it is the strongest and easiest to print. I will leave BrainKey_2.0.stl up for archiver purposes.
