Summary

This is a pretty simple key holder with a bonus quarter holder so you always have a quarter for Aldi. I made most of it in Fusion 360 and have provided the STEP files. I printed everything in PLA at 100% fill and the holder is plenty strong.

You need to print two of the key holders. You can print two smooth, two textured, or one of each, they are reversible. I recommend one of each so that you can easily identify which way you are holding.

It uses 3/8" aluminum screws posts to hold the keys in place. You could use shorter or longer posts depending on your needs. If you don't change your keys regularly, I'd recommend using blue loctite on the threads so the holder doesn't come apart in your pocket.

The spacers are primarily for making sure there's enough room for the quarter holder to slide between the opposite keys. It is nice to be able to shim both stacks so they are same thickness though. I've only included 1mm thick spacers, because I didn't the want the openSCAD model to create a customizer. If you need different thicknesses of spacer just change the Z scaling when you print.
