this is a loose recreation of i-am-steve's kenmore vacuum floor brush
my mother wore out the one she had so i decided to make a replacement since it cannot be bought.
you will need to make i-am-steve's repair part for this to work

there are three printable parts for this project. the rotating part from i-am-steve and the two i provide here. the cap retains the rotating insert against the base. you will need to use a method to keep it there. you can use zip ties or tape if you dont want to permanently glue the cap and base while having the insert in place (dont glue the insert if you want it to rotate obv).
i didnt spend to much time on making a neat model. its a function item so i put enough effort to make sure it works. in other words, i know the fit and finish arent the best but it rotates freely.
i didnt want the labor of installing brushes so i settled for 2mm recesses that take custom cut furniture felt bought at the dollar store. so you will need supports for the recesses in the base. you dont need much infill and material doesnt matter
