This is the bracket that holds an M5 nut that accepts an M5 16 mm screw that holds the plate light cover in place (whew).
I lost one so I decided to print it.
The original is metal so I doubled the thickness to add strength.
Depending on the material you use, it my or may not last long but then you print another.
Keep in mind that all the holding strength is provided by the nut/screw combination. The purpose of the bracket is just to hold the nut in place as there would be no easy way to access and keep in place a regular nut,
After you print it, glue an M5 nut in the bracket recess and you are good to go.
If you happen to be in one of the countries (I can only think of one) that doesn't use metric you can just glue in the closest SAE equivalent.
Though this fits a Kawasaki Ninja 500 I suspect you can use for other brands or indeed anytime you need to screw something where you can slide in the bracket but can't otherwise hold the nut in place.
Print it on its side and you don't need support.
