The file 'Katadyn BeFree / Sawyer Squeeze Filter To Water Bottle Coupler / Adapter 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 2.2MB.
This coupler was inspired by @Mike_122337's BeFree Backflush Adapter. I've shared this design with his permission.
This Coupler is designed to provide a stable connection between a BeFree or Sawyer (Micro) Squeeze Filter and a water or soda bottle with 28mm threads (Smartwater, Dasani, Coke, Pepsi, etc.).
There is an internal funnel that directs the water from the filter to flow directly into the mouth of the water bottle. In addition, there is a vent hole which allows the air to come out of the water bottle while filtering.
I've printed several of these in PETG, 0.2mm layer heights, no support needed. PLA would probably be fine also but maybe not last as long before failure. There is no real pressure buildup with this design, only a mechanical hold with the threads.
I've added a cap that should seal the coupler when not attached to a water bottle. For a more watertight connection on the sawyers, a sawyer gasket can be used.
