The sold balde is ment to reinforce the kanji web blade by orienting it inside the kanji blade.
The solid rectangular shape is a folding blade locking mechanism which should be slightly best as to allow the blade to lock when unfolded
The thin douel is the spacer between each side of the Handel.
Warning. Their is still now locking mechanism when the blade is closed yet but perhaps you can mod it with a metal file.
I didn't add any nuts bults or screws as that should be easy enough to get from another thing or a hardware store but I'll add something later
Keeping the part inside the handle facing towards the folding out direction unsharpened is a safe idea
You may or may not need a drill
The blade should be less thick then the spacer to allow for folding but they are all currently the same thickness
