After replacing the rattling linear ball bearings with silent bearings from igus, I noticed they had less play and the carriage was a little harder to move. Unfortunately, the motion system of the printer is as bad as everything on this printer, so each time the direction reversed, the additional friction made the print bed turn a little. Ruined my prints because parallel lines with the same distance didn't come out at the same distance if they were printed in reverse directions. Especially visible on bottom and top infill.
This thing fixes the problem by putting the bearings for X-motion wider apart, so the carriage cannot do this turning motion anymore.
