I designed these 5 components for the 5 gallon bucket I used as a water reservoir for my K40 laser. I wanted a way to get a good seal so the dust form other tools such as my CNC router do not contaminate the water.
The holes for the water tubes are 9.5 mm in diameter. It is a snug fit which took wetting the tubes to lubricate them to get them to pass through. A 5/8 inch drill bit was used to clean the holes and make insertion of the tubes easier.
I was surprised how well the two halves were able to thread on to the nut for the power cable and hold it securely. I am quite happy with the results. I uploaded the whole power port (labeled Pump Port) in case someone wanted to modify it and split it themselves.
I printed the nuts flat on the bed and the water ports standing vertically with the bottom of the threaded area touching the build plate.
**** As requested on 5/1/2022 additional files added. An observation/fluid level checking port so lid does no need to be removed. It would also need an additional 26mm nut printed.
