I borrowed the base plate from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6143302 but had to move the holes as he warned.
The bearing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H8X9D3X is about $10 but I only found them in pairs when I was looking. It has a little more drag than the popular ones with 2 608s, but I prefer that because I'm clumsy and occasionally set mine awhirl. Also like the look better.
I used an M3x20 flat head screw through the end cap to a M3 6x5 knurled insert, but you could easily fill the hole in a bit with Tinkercad and skip the insert.
