The file 'K1 / K1C Aux Fan Shroud / Cover / Baffle 3D Printer Model' is (3mf,step,stl,gcode) file type, size is 1.9MB.
My previous auxiliary fan shroud/cover/baffle printed in PLA warped inwards due to the heat from the print bed, therefore I had to print a new one. Was looking thru 3Drop and going to print this new fan cover (https://www.printables.com/model/529439/) and I saw a comment that said the power output was cut in half. I'm not gonna sacrifice cooling, but since I liked the design, I had to make one myself from scratch using Fusion360 (And gave it an overkill intake size).
I printed the flat side up so I only need to support one of the pins, as I was running out of filament (negligible 10g+ difference). You can also print it upright, however you will need to add on supports for the pins and the top of the curve.
I printed it in Transparent PCTG as most of my printer mods are in the same material, gives it the transparent Gameboy vibes.
Unfortunately I don't have a decibel meter and anemometer to check if this cover affects the sound and wind speed, however the sound does get muffled a little compared to being bare, and I could not sense any decrease in wind speed neither. So I think its a success!
