The next iteration of the k-quad design. The 5.1 is based on existing designs available on the market today in excess of £100.
The picture shows the vertical standoffs that were printed however I found that its best to use hex spacers from an Ebay seller or similar rather than a long bolt through the middle.
The design features arms that are friction fit and slide on impact, thus reducing the chances of critical failure on impact.
There is a dedicated plate for carrying your Flight Controller board and the top plate is designed to split so that you can access the board area easily, or use the existing holes for accessing a KK2 Flight Controller.
