The file 'Julia Fractal Twist Vase 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 24.8MB.
This is a vase I designed based on the Julia set of fractals. It is generated with custom code in python, imported into inkscape and converted to svg, imported into openscad then rendered into a vase shape.
The Julia equation I used is in the following form:
z -> z^7 + 0.700
Iterations are limited by:
Re[z^2 + 0.7]^2 < 4

REVISION HISTORY:
Updated Version 2 - Used 50 intermediate steps which has substantially reduced the appearance of horizontal banding. Use "... VERSION 2.stl" for the updated, high resolution model. The old version is still attached, but I do not recommend using it to get the best appearance.
Original Version 1 - Used 15 intermediate steps, which resulted in some horizontal banding on the model.
