I adapted this joystick to my best friend 馃挏
He has been using it for several years.
The joystick is designed for people without finger movements, who operate it from elbow and shoulder movements, who have spasticity in their fingers. When they want to use the recline or tilt mechanism, the fingers slide off the normal joystick.
Basically the upper part is a kind of stop that prevents the hand from leaving the joystick during use.
Please note: the use of elbow and shoulder movements only, no movements in the fingers and wrist. Mostly suitable for people with high cervical injuries.
