Summary

I like making things that are compact and serve multiple purposes, so I wanted to make something that could be taken on a trip and hold the Joy-Cons while also holding as many games as possible. I had seen some designs already made, but I felt that I could do better.

This holds 6 game cartridges, 3 on each side. There are openings where the cartridges fall to show what they are. At the top is a bidirectional springing lever which prevents the cartridges from falling out in its resting position but allows them to slide out when pushed to one side or the other. Joy-Cons slide into either side, and it technically doesn't matter whether the holder is facing forwards or backwards, but the curves and holes for the indicator lights only fit in one orientation. The two files I included are essentially identical except that one gives a little bit more room for the cartridges. The low-tolerance one should be fine if your 3D printer doesn't produce many imperfections, but if you're using old, wet filament like I was, you may need to use the high-tolerance variety to make sure the cartridges don't keep getting stuck.
