Jointless Iris Mechanism which is printed in one piece and with standard PLA filament.
The design is inspired by the US company "flexsys", but completely designed from scratch. After four prototypes it finally worked as expected.
For printing use 10% support and cut it away with a spatula afterwards.
I used standard PLA filament with 0.2mm layer height.
For the part to bend better I recommend using 2mm wall thickness under "shell" settings un Cura.
