The file 'Jiabaile 1:43 Drift RC Increase Steering Mod. 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 63.7KB.
I designed and tested these replaceable parts for the Jiabaile 1/43 drift car. They increase the steering angle and make the car more controllable and suitable for tight race tracks. It’s a bit more consistent regarding the angle of steering, but it becomes harder to control because when steering left or right, the car spins more easily when this mod is applied. So, it becomes harder to control but suitable for tracks with tight corners, which makes it a more technical driving RC car compared with full throttle drift style driving with its factory settings.
!!! PLEASE BEWARE THAT WITH THIS MOD YOU COULD BREAK YOUR SERVO BECAUSE THE SERVO IS HITTING THE END POINT WITHOUT ANY LIMITATION, AND AFTER A WHILE, IT COULD POSSIBLY BREAK. I HAVE USED MINE FOR 10-15 FULL CHARGES AND IT’S STILL WORKING!!!
Another thing to keep in mind is that, with this mod, the car will spin in place very fast compared to factory settings. It becomes a little hard to control if you hit full throttle. For those who want to use it with a gyro, I can say after some tests that it does matter a lot to have an increased steering angle when using a gyro. I also recommend that the gyro has adjustable gain. I used a GC-401 Gyro, and with any setting, it wobbles a lot. There are some micro gyros available that work okay from what I’ve seen from other people.
