This JetBoat is a remix inspired by the great work or wersy, I recommend reading his build instructions ! : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930577 Speed Boat 3 RC
This design remake features a jet propulsion.
As a bearing for the propeller shaft, I'm using an 8 mm brass rod that I drilled a 4 mm hole into. You'll need 2 pices one in the boat mounted one in the nozzle.
The propeller shaft is a 4 mm brass rod.
You might need to design your own engine, servo and battery mount fitting your parts.
Tip, the center of the propeller shaft is 22mm above the keel.
I've included a 3D Printed Propeller. it's "useable" and used in the video, but it's fare from optimal, it's probably better to buy one... however it does work.
The coupler however... make one out of brass ... the 3D printed is fine for a prototype, but don't rely on it.
Have Fun rebuilding the boat, make some photos and videos and share them!

Here's the make w/o the STL files http://www.thingiverse.com/make:265357
You'll find the STL files for the cover at : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930577 they fit unmodified ;)
Here's a practical servo mount : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3234221
A rather successfull rebuild : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tKGmv5ApTE&t=209s

Cool to see the design beeing used :)
