Summary

Working Turbofan Jet Engine

This is a Turbofan jet engine that I designed, similar to the engines made by Rolls-Royce. The idea behind this project was to create a jet engine that has the main components of a real jet engine inside as well as creating a jet engine that runs with compressed air (even if the housing is open). Besides the printed parts there are two 608 bearings required.

For the assembly there is a little sanding and gluing required. To run the engine with compressed air a 4mm pneumatic tube is needed wich is glued in the injector.
