The file 'Jellyfish LED Lamp – Very Customizable! 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 1.5MB.
This Jellyfish LED Lamp is a very customizable design, great for home crafts projects.
There are two 3D-printed parts - a top and a base. They can be printed together at the same time, without any supports at all! :) I personally used an AnyCubic Kobra printer with translucent aqua blue PLA.
The top has a central hole for hanging purposes - and there are multiple ways to make that work. For example, you can feed yarn through the top, then make a large knot that is concealed on the inside of the lamp.
The base has several tie-down points for ribbons, yarn, string, streamers, and other dangly things. The base also has six slots for dropping out larger items like LED ropelights.
Within the top, I packed a ball of LED ropelights (along with their battery pack) and a small remote-controlled color-changing LED tealight.
To assemble the finished lamp, align the 3 tabs on the base with the corresponding cutouts on the top, then turn the base clockwise to secure it. You can disassemble the lamp as needed with a counter-clockwise turn of the base.
And for those wondering - I designed this in SolidWorks.
HAZARD NOTE: Do not place burning candles or conventional filament lightbulbs in this design...you risk a fire hazard otherwise. This design is intended for craft LEDs only.
