I really like the Jeep Yeti Handle by rrichey so I printed it for my wife in her favorite color Pink. Well the original is designed for a 30oz Yeti mug so I had to scale it down to 87% to get it to fit my wife's 20oz Yeti mug. This made the handle a little too close for my wife to comfortably hold onto the handle even with her small hands. So I began the process of translating the provided STL file from rrichey's post into an editable CAD file which makes the files much larger. This was my first attemp at this and it took awhile but my wife in the end was happy with the newly designed handle that sits further away from the mug and is a bit larger for a better hold. I also removed the notch gap between the handle and the mug ring, which my wife said made it easy for her to get a finger caught in a little bit. The newly designed handle also prints better as it has steeper overhangs.
As always, I have also posted my source file as a STEP (.stp) file so others can easily customize the design. STEP files can be opened in a variety of CAD packages, such as AutoDesk's FREE to use Fusion 360.
There is also a 30oz version of this handle, but I have not printed it as we don't have 30oz Yeti mugs. It is a scaled version, 115%, of my V2 20oz design so everything including the handle will be larger. Or you can always use rrichey's original design which is for a 30oz mug.
Enjoy!
