I designed another hitch cover for my little Jeep Renegade. i love the whole idea of the "Jeep Wave" and realized i couldn't wave at people behind me. so i searched for a nice image i liked and put it up in tinkercad. i really liked the floating fingers off of the main body, and i wanted to keep that look... so i added some simple shapes that attach the fingers to the receiver tube insert. it would probably look even better if you printed the hand in one color, then changed to black for the rear of the tube... maybe in my next print. the hand is 10mm thick if you need a point to set a filament change.
just as a note, the supports that make is "float" are also floating in mid air.. my printer bridges pretty well, and so i did not use supports. if you want to, i am sure you could use them just fine.
Edit: i printed a couple of these. when i went to fit them i found the whole for the hitch pin was now far enough back. i know i compensated for this in the first version of the model, somehow i lost it in the second. i have restored the length... it should fit now with no modification... apologies to those tho printed a previous version.
