This is a jam style* connector used to connect and adjust the elastic used in DIY face masks. Use it to connect, adjust, then lock into place.
I have also uploaded a clasp version that can be easily hooked and unhooked.
It is intended to be used on the style of masks where the elastic goes around the head, not around the ears.
The masks we have been making, hundreds of them, are the kind that will be used by health professionals over their N95 respirators.
*like a jam cleat, a device that you wedge a line into to hold it in place, commonly found on sailboats.
