This is a re-designed version of the original Extruder which came with my Creality Ender 3 printer, with the following design goals.
1] Tighter filament path constraints, to enable printing with TPE90A (a flexible filament)
2] Adds more clearance between the filament input hole in the lever arm, and the Z-Axis lead screw, by changing the filament path angle.
3] Higher tension on the lever spring, so more grip strength is applied to the filament.
4] Includes a place to attach zip-ties, to aid with cable management.
To use it you will need:
• One M4 nut.
• One M4x10 socket head screw.
• 5cm or more of PTFE tube (bowden tubing)
The rest of the parts (spring, guide wheel, and screws) already exist on the original Ender 3 extruder, and will be re-used.
You must use both the base and the lever arm together, as the filament path is slightly different than that of the original (5 degrees off-angle, and almost 2mm higher), so you will not be able to mix-and match this lever with the original base, nor vise-versa.
