The file 'Jack Skellington Ornament 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 15.2MB.
Hello All! Happy Holidays!
This is my first 3D Model, I 3D modeled this in Nomad Sculpt on my IPhone 14 Pro Max. (Definitely recommended using something with a bigger screen haha)
Exported as an STL. into Cura and scaled this up to about 1068%
Infill should be at least 20%maybe 25% unless you have your supports dialed in and are able to remove them with ease.
I printed this with 15% infill and my supports are not dialed in on my ender so i had trouble removing them and broke his head off :( lol
I was able to glue it back on, filled in any imperfection with filler of your choice.
I recommend printing him at an angle so the supports are towards the back to make the front a cleaner look if your supports aren't dialed in (See pic where it is at angle and slighty blue touching the build plate)
Hit it with some filler primer (Careful to not fill in to much of the mouth/nose area so it can guide you later when painting)
Sanded him down and repeated about 3 times in total.
Then he was ready for paint! After painting I hit him with 2 coats of clear coat.
Will be posting a tiktok video of my process if anyone is interesed @danny3Dprints
I'm not good at painting but did my best I'm sure all yours will be better and would love to see them!
Please post your makes!
