You can engrave and cut all kind of plastics, light wood, etc. For cutting only thin materials are suitable.
When you use this mount, then first adjust the laser as described in the manual and then add the lid. The fan will cool the laser module (important for the life-time) and blow away dust from the lense.

The mount was tested with the IE version of the CNC with 25mm conduits.
What else do you need?
Safety first!
When you are using a laser module ALWAYS wear eye protection! Even scattered radioation can make you blind. Your eyes cannot shut quick enough to avoid damage! A laser is no toy so please don't handle it like one.
Also be careful with the fume that is generated while engraving. Use a filter with activated carbon or at least keep your windows open.
