This is a WIP case with 55mm height (and an old attempt at 65mm height). It is the side panels and part of the front panel. Either using brass heat set inserts or 55mm M3 round standoffs with a 5mm OD.
The Front Panel_E is to fix a bit of a clash with my CPU Cooler, we'll see how it works. I have also transitioned to using mesh for the GPU side. Untested.
Mid Panel is used with Front Panel_E for internal support. Will need to be trimmed as it currently is pinched between the GPU and motherboard. It might work fine, GPU just will not be fully seated, less than 1mm clearance needed.
Use sheet metal for the top and bottom of the case.
Add some ventilated screen to the cutouts. 'Gutter guard' is commonly available in 6"x36" lengths, black or white in color for $3-5 at the hardware store. Or any decorative screen you may like. I use E6000 to bond it in. Epoxy or JB Weld may work too.
