The Brabantia ironing board can be hung on a wall, it has a wire bent at about 115 degrees, this block matches that and supports it close to the wall. The screws used are 80mm construction screws, they go through the block and into the wall which is drilled with a 6mm hole and has a rawlplug in it. Having the screw most of the way through the block compresses it across the layer lines adding plenty of strength.
The screws are sunk in enough to be covered by a small printed cylinder 5mm radius, I will add the one I end up using, but your tolerances may be different for a friction fit.
