I designed this basket as a component to an inexpensive two-bucket IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wash system to clean resin prints from my Anycubic Photon using a technique similar to the finishing/wash station supplied with printers such as the Form2.
I am using the 3"x5"x4" Snapware brand containers available from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0145QW5IO or elsewhere, and the object is sized to exactly fit this container. If you want to use a different container, please let me know the interior dimensions and I will be happy to create a basket of the correct dimensions for you. I need to know the width and height and corner radius of the container bottom (inside dimensions) and the depth of the container.
Please view the recommend print settings below which are optimized for speed, strength and utility.
This is a parametric design created in Fusion360; future ideas include recreating the part in OpenSCAD to enable customizing the basket size directly through a Thingiverse app.
4/18/18 Update: The v1 design with the thin handles does not print well; however the honeycomb and base print well. I replaced the design with a v2 which includes altered handles positioned at opposite corners. It should be possible to print without supports.
5/1/18 Update: I reworked the design to better fit the original containers that I referenced. This design is marked as the 3x5x4 v3. After we get some additional testing out of the way I'll mark this as final and upload the source project so people can more easily create custom sizes.
12/29/18 Update: I uploaded the Fusion360 archive file on request. Please post your results if you are successful at adjusting this file for yourself!
