Hi.
Filtering your used IPA and recycle it is a great way to save $$$ and do something good for the environment. I figured out that "curing" your IPA after every second resin print turns most of the dissolved resin into tiny plastic particles without the risk of getting the nasty jelly many other makers have reported (when curing really "dirty" IPA).
In any case, filtering all these tiny plastic particles out of the IPA can be quite time consuming due to frequent blocking of the filter paper (I use simple coffee filters). The Veg Oil Guy (VOG) posted a nice video on Youtube on this topic. To improve the fit of standard coffee filters and thus provide even more filter surface and faster filtering, I designed this filter funnel. The filter funnel is not a simple cone but instead ends in a line at the bottom, with the same length of standard coffee filters.
The filter funnel works great for me and I hope it will serve you well too! I even threw in a tab for easy storage...The wonders never seize :)
Enjoy and feel free to visit my blog (allpro3d.com)!
