Seriously tho: I was trying to create a hinge for the Ikea LACK table that

• was clean looking (integrated in the leg standoffs)
• raised the height of the enclosure by at least 15 cm
• could handle a full-width 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) Plexiglas door

After wasting way too much filament on different iterations I came up with this design.
Sorry about the scientific vs freedom unit mess - I am a German living in the US. :/

Specifications:

• adds 8.15 cm to each leg (per hinge)
• total inner enclosure height: 56.3 cm
• maximum opening angle: 125°

Requires flat head wood screws (Torx > Phillips)

• 8 X 1 1/2″ screws (that's something like M4 x 40mm for normal people)
• 8 X 1″ screws (M4 x 25mm)
• 8 X 3/4″ screws (M4 x 20mm)
• 7 X 1/2″ screws (M4 x 12mm?)

and a long screw driver (> 10 cm, max 1 cm diameter).

Requires drill bits:

• for pilot holes: 1/8″-ish (2-3 mm) diameter (pre-drill all wood screws!)
• for Plexiglas: Size-R (8.6 mm diameter) - sorry, I had this lying around from 10 mm taps

Designed for 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) Plexiglas

Walls:

• 17.5″ X 22″ (445 mm x 558 mm)

Doors (design should work with 3 or 4 legs, one or two doors per side):

• 4-legged, half-width: 8.72" X 22" (220 mm x 558 mm)
• 4-legged, full-width: 17.44" X 22" (443 mm x 558 mm)
• 3-legged, full-width: 19.25" X 22" (489 mm x 558 mm)
