Summary

I saw somebody do this with plasticard here so I tried turning their blueprints into printable parts. In the end I ended up modeling from photos more than the original measurements but the original idea is by Captain MAGpie:

I'm pretty sure the sides of the interior of the cockpit have to be trimmed for the closed cockpit to fit. The part that has to be cut is shown in the blog. The parts that have a 'x2' in the name have to be printed twice. Some of the details are used to cover the gaps left by the cage on the sides of the cockpit as shown on picture 2.

I've made the details separate so they can be printed at a higher resolution. It also make sanding the cockpit a lot easier. I honestly don't have the measurements to fit them to the cockpit as a single piece eitherway, feel free to try if you want to save some time.

There are two versions of the cockpit:

Version 1 needs the hinges on top. I tried to make it look like it could actually open so it fits into the cage hinges.

Version 2 just fits flush with the top of the Invictor. The gaps for the original cage have to be filled

There is an stl for some optics like the ones Captain Magpie has on his model. I kinda like it without them so they are not on the photos.
