The file 'Intubation Tool For Small Animals 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 161.3KB.
A guiding tool made and test printed for a vet friend. It is a simple tool that can save animal lives and I think it should definitely be shared. Made according to example/sketch.
Free to scale up or down to at least 60% (I didn't scale beyond that). The base is suitable for narrow tubes of ± 8-10mm (intubator width is 11mm). Smaller tubes can be used by scaling down.
Use a raft for printing. I used a raft of 3 layers, a z-distance for the raft of 0.1 and a width all around of 5mm.
Use support up to 40° (I used tree support) for only the tip.
Printed with nozzle 0.4, layer thickness 0.2 and 3 outer walls to ensure that there would be no filling.
After printing, rework the entire tool by means of scrape with a sharp hobby knife and smoothing with fine sandpaper.
