This is a 28mm dia. interlocking tube at just <250mm in height which I developed for https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5488992. Printed with a 1.0mm nozzle for strength. I have included a shorter test tube (no pun intended) so that you can check fits.
It ought to be scalable, just watch the length of the engagement. Try to plan for the endcaps if you're printing in a set. (ie. modulus for length plus endcap sitting length).
You can adjust the fit with flow% and remember, printing a set is faster than printing one at a time.
Update: I added some endcaps one is a plug to set into the major dia. and the other is a ring to rest around the minor dia.
