This is a simple interlocking containers that can be arranged and stacked.
Interlocking is asymmetric. upgrade of version 1
WARNING: the two versions are not compatible with each other.
As with the previous version, these containers attach to each other using an interlocking mechanism.
It is also still possible to stack them.
The pin helps secure the containers together. Simply slide the filament into the groove.
The cut corner is a visual cue to help assemble the containers.
As you have probably noticed, the number of notches is not the same on opposite sides of the container.
So there is a sense of assembly.
By always placing the cut corner on the same side, you are assured of good assembly.
Therefore, containers cannot be rotated 90°.
For example, the 12x06 container is not interchangeable with the 06x12 container (like the left and right hands).
You will find 16 .stl files, corresponding to 16 different container sizes.
Files are named using the following convention: container - XXxYY-1.stl
.XX
represents the number of notches in the width direction and YY
in the depth direction.
By convention the cut corner is placed at the front left.
