If you are like me, you like to mess around with computers.
I also like to have my own Virtual Lab and in order to control heat, I came up with this ring, as the Intel NUC sucks air in from the bottom and blows it out in the back.
If you want to build your own Nano Lab there is an excellent guide about it here (not by me): http://www.tekhead.org/blog/2013/01/nanolab-running-vmware-vsphere-on-intel-nuc-part-1/
As of now my Nano Lab runs on three VMWare hosts (two of them Intel NUC's) and also iSCSI LUN from my NAS (Synology 414) all connected through a Netgear GS108Ev2 switch with multiple vlans.
