My son has coeliac disease and can’t eat normal cakes. But there is a fine gluten-free confectionery at the other end of the town we sometimes go to. To transport tartlets home, we use old ice cream boxes and to fix the fairy cakes inside I designed a special inlet.
During a trip to France I learned, that the size of tartlets and the round paper-made underlay seems to be of a standard size (diameter 80mm) for many bakeries. So I decided to share this inlet, hoping it can be useful for someone else.
The bottom of the inlet is made of two symmetric halves, glued together and connected to the handle. For gluing I just use the same resin, as for printing, harden it using an UV-lamp. On an FDM printer it should be possible to print the bottom in one piece, but I have an SLA-printer only.
Size of the whole, ready to use inlet is 173x107x65mm.
