The Infinite Sand Castle
This is my entry for the Build a Castle challenge!
The main goal in designing these moulds was to show how tessellation can create complex patterns from simple shapes. I was inspired by the Islamic mosaics from the Alhambra and created a simplified pattern that could work as the floor plans for the sand castle. The moulds were modelled in Blender, sliced in Cura, and printed on a BQ Hephestos Prusa i3.
