This is an adapter for my Hethya 15 egg incubator. This incubator is a round style incubator that auto rolls the eggs in 360 degrees, while the egg lays horizontally.

From research, it may be beneficial to hatch eggs that have been shipped, in the upright position with the wide end of the egg up, as there is a higher likely hood of the air pocket in the egg being detached or forming in the wrong location. Many also recommend to perhaps not rotate the eggs for the first week or so of incubation.

This is an experimental upright egg hold that fits my specific incubator. It may fit the slots of other incubators, but you may have to remix. It is leaning at a 24 degree angle, as the incubator cover is a curved dome. So the egg will be in a mostly upright position, mimicking as close as I could tell the angle upright incubators work, that tilt the eggs back and forth, vs rolling them. I can still rotate the egg with in the cup, while keeping the air sack on the wide end of the egg upright, if need be.

It may not fit extra large eggs, but fits my Ayam Cemani and Silkie eggs with no issues.
