The file 'Improved Laundry Detergent Drip Tray, Re-enforced With Tray Lip 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 15.5KB.
This is a remix of a nice laundry cup drip tray design. I've made several of the originals, and found that the circular arms are prone to breakage, and will weaken and loosen over time.
And more importantly, over time as the detergent bottles sag a bit, and it ends up causing the tray to angle a bit, making it very easy for the cup to slide off the tray.
So I re-enforced the arms, and added a small lip around the front edge of the tray that will make it such that the detergent cups can't slide off the tray, yet is small enough to not interfere with placing and removing the cup during use.
This version is also scaled up so it can be printed at 100% size. Some other re-mixes of this item make a sloped lip over the tray so it can print without supports, but I find that some laundry cups are taller, and won't fit without that extra space, so I stayed with the sharp overhang design.
Just print it upright as seen in the pictures, using tree supports. It should make two tree support structures that come up from the left and right side, and easily take care of the overhang. The final printed result came out really nice and works as intended.
We find it fits Tide and Kirkland detergent bottles perfectly, and I'm sure it also fits many others, as the side laying, push button spout design packaging has become quite standardized among the different brands.
