The file 'Improved Fidget Twister 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 34.7MB.
The biggest improvement over other designs is that it spins freely on a pole. Another innovation is a tapered hole so the pole can be joined together with a short length of filament, no glue is necessary.
Designed with tight tolerances, you may have to sand/file parts if the fit is too tight. I use a rat tail file in the center of the twist part and the inside edges of the nut until the parts move freely. There are 2 versions, long and short. A piece of filament is used to join the pole together. The holes in the pole are tapered, test fit a 37mm max length piece of filament and trim until it is the correct length to join the pole together.
The nut comes in 2 versions, tight and loose. With tight I work the pieces together until they loosen up.
Recommend Cura slicer settings: 50% gyroid infill, 0.2 layer height, adaptive layers, brim build plate adhesion. Walls: z seam alignment: sharpest corner
