Version1: 1mm gap require within 0.5~1mm even thickness sealant (no leak if done perfectly --- highly recommended)
Version2: smallest gap with minor leakage( may unable to apply sealant as the gap is too small or it may unable to lock with you mask outlet ) for someone who have no sealant

You can do the fittest on Version 1 after sealant applied
(Put your hand palm cover whole the outlet and breathe to check no leakage)

Surgical masks can be placed inside the container with good ventilation ability.

Main Purpose: Create a physical barrier to avoid infection to other people through droplets and save you disposable masks from consuming too quickly.

If you are suspected that you were being infected by a virus or suffering incubating period, you are suggested to wear a standard surgical mask. My invention only provided a secondary option to you when you have no other choice.

Pros: 1.Better Exhalation 2.Near no Leakage(with sealant apply on V1) 3.Redirect of the outgoing air to downward.
Cons: 1.Take longer time to print (1hr45mins for 2mm layer height, 1hr 25mins for 3mm height(Tested ok)) 2.Larger in size

Design Reason: Due to Coronavirus pandemic spread all over the world. Common surgical masks price increased dramatically. VFE mask will be more demand ever than before. In order to reduce the consumption of your valuable masks. The alternative measure is required to perform asap to protect your family, friends, neighbor or even your country people.

Design purpose:Primarily block "large" users' sneezing and coughing droplets or saliva out of the respirator. Secondarily slow down the global mask consumption rate. Slower the spreading ability of the Coronavirus. Protecting your loved people nearby.

New Outlet allows you to reduce the viral particles coming out from your airway. Viral particles always usage droplets as a transport measure to travel in the air to infect another person. Droplets will be highly reduced when the gas you breathing out through the resized surgical mask. If you are suspected yourself were infected with the coronavirus. Wearing a surgical mask is highly recommended. The incubating period is far longer than you imagine ( at least 14 more days with no obvious symptoms ).

Improved Outlet allows you to put a surgical mask inside the container with distancing between the respirator outlet to my external outlet to provide you BETTER breathing rate during exhale (5mm).
Remember to replace the surgical mask in 4hrs(can be more if you think it can) use to ensure the mask is in proper condition and well functioning all the time you expose to the dangerous area( avoid get into the crowded area is recommended even you are wearing a mask). Surgical Mask doesn't provide you 100% protection due to it penetration rate exists.

-Clean the respirator every time carefully after usage. Viral particles can survive many days on any surfaces ( stainless steel 9days more ). Your finger may contact the mask surface. So, you should make sure not to contact your eyes, mouths or nose as those viruses mainly spread through mucus contact.
