The assembly is just 3 parts; the main body, the stand, and the icon insert. I printed a caliper-shaped slot in the black stand, and then printed a matching part in white PLA to get the nice pictorial label on the stand.
The stand itself is very stable and you can really plop your calipers into it without worrying. It lives in a special place on my desk now and so I always have calipers close by.
The stand should fit snugly in the main body without any glue, but I added a little dab of superglue for extra strength.
The white insert does need superglue to stay in.
EDIT: By request, added version of the stand without the caliper icon inlay.
