So this is a completely scratch design. I got tired of seeing the friction marks being made on my GoPro from the other 3D mounts. So I took my GoPro and measured it up and designed one with the dimensions I gathered. This mount fits GREAT! with just enough friction to hold it and not let it go. Tested in crashes without a strap going around the mount and the GoPro never moves.
This mount also covers over the side edges just enough to protect the GoPro's corners.
UPDATE V2: 11-8-18 = Added some more protection to the GoPro's lens.
