An icosahedral door knob, ~50mm in diameter. The square hole is 8x8 mm square, designed to fit my door, with an M5 screw hole (tight tapping). It can be customized in OpenSCAD (hole_size
). The cylindrical part is 22mm in diameter.
The inside is hollow - this both saves some material, but also opens the possibility of filling it with tiny dark (or glowing !) objects if your print is translucent enough.
I made this since my last door knob printed in PLA broke - I expect PETG might be more durable. Printed in a ridiculous green since that's the PETG filament I had at the time. It's maybe just a little large for my liking.
