This is a remix of my Stellated Rhombic Triacontahedron. When I printed the original, I was struck by how this might look good as a tree ornamant.
This needs to print with a brim because not much touches the build plate. This also requires infill because of all of the overhangs.
This is oriented to print flat on one of its faces (a pentagram). You will need to take care to remove the brim from the side that touches the build plate.
12 / 1 / 2018 I added a second model file that has an empty center. This may or may not print faster than the original with infill, but it will be faster if you scale this up to a giant size.
