The file 'Ibáñez-Spider 3D Printer Model' is (3mf,stl) file type, size is 3.7MB.
Spanish comic artist Francisco Ibáñez died not long ago. He was famous for "Mortadelo y Filemón" aka "Clever & Smart" or "Mort & Phil". Fans of his comics will remember the little six-leged spider that could be found outside of the comic panels - the so called Ibáñez-Spider.
This spider and its web is my homage to Francisco Ibáñez.
Print the spiderweb and the spider seperatly. For the web it is important to set the line width for the first layer to 0,45mm or smaller. Use standard-settings for all other line widths. The rest of the print settings are pretty much straight forward. Use 3 walls, 5 bottoms, 5 tops,10% infill and no supports - it is not a difficult print.
If you have an AMS or MMU print the spider with two-colours. For those with a single colour printer I recommend you paint the eyes white with black pupils.
The spider has a front and a back side. You can glue both halfs together or only use the front side.
The 3mf file is for Bambu Lab printers and contains two plates - one for the web and one for the spider (you need Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer for it).
Use double-sided tape to stick the web to a doorframe or something else.
PS: Yes, the spider has only six legs. That is how an Ibáñez-Spider looks like.
