The file 'Hypercube Evolution Carriage Orbiter 2.0 Mount With Volcano Hotend And 5015 Fan 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 629.6KB.
Since I restarted my 3d printer hobby this year, One of my machines is my old Hypercube Evolution Build from 2019.
Bowden didn't produce great results for me, so I ordered an orbiter 2.0 extruder to eventually convert this printer into a direct extrusion.
Unfortunately, there are not many options that suit my needs so I have to model them myself.
I uploaded two versions of the file. The first one which was printed, have an issue with the fan screw placement so I had to create a second one with a custom-made fan duct.
Extra parts required
Instruction:
Version note
V1 - Prototype that works for me. But the fan mount was off. Please ignore it.
V2 - Update with 5015 fan
V3 - Shorten the mount by 5mm to increase X movement limit
V4 - Decided not to shorten the mount as it will lose Y movement anyway, Added BLtouch
V5 - By moving part cooling fan to the top of the carriage. We restored another 15mm of X-Axis movement.
Please adjust homing sequence to home Y first then X as the Orbiter motor might collide with Y Optical Endstop if it is at X0 before Y is homed.
