Designed a light bar holder and T-cup clip for Modular Hydroponic Tower Garden.
The Modular Hydroponic Tower Garden has a great set of hydroponic modules. There's almost everything you need there. I try not to overprint materials and with the T-cups - they are a bit too much in terms of filament use vs. the actual use, If you purchase T-cups it makes more sense, but they don't fit too well. So I designed a clip that snaps into the modules and is flush with the T-cups to snap into as well.
Link to the lights I used: T5 lights 5W.
T5 lights are nice, but 5w might be underpowered. I don't recommend using this as your primary light source. I use a 600w overhead block light.
I didn't know this while I created the T5 light holder.
They use m3 nuts and bolts. Don't over tighten as they're meant to be swung around. There's a metal clip that comes with the light bars that you use to fix the light bar to the grip. Use the provided screws to fix the clip into the grip and slide the lights through.
I found the connected lights get very loose and disconnected which is quite annoying. As a result i designed a clip to hold them together. Do not snap them on or they'll break but slide them on instead with a little force.
