Summary

Hydroponic Net cup/pot System for 4" PVC Pipe

Start your plants off first in the smaller net cups in a cloner/nursery. Once you are ready to move your plants to your 4" PVC pipe hydroponics system, you simply use the cap + grommet pieces that mounts on the PVC tube.

One of the main advantages of a hydroponic system is the ability to keep things clean which reduces the number of pests in your garden. I have seen a lot of 4" PVC type systems but in most of them there are large gaping holes where the net pots are drilled. This is no good as it lets sunlight, bugs, dirt direct access to the roots. With this design my goal was to create a clean interface between the net cups and the PVC tubing.

Note: This design is for v2 of my hydroponic grow which has not happened yet, I have not installed these yet, they are only a proof of concept currently.. If you need a special pipe diameter I may be able to adapt the design to your specifications. Let me know!
