Summary

This project is a bit of a work in progress but is part of a small 15" x 20" Ebb and Flow hydroponics system.

To avoid having to cycle the pump I have designed this Bell Siphon to connect to a 3/4-Inch Double Threaded Bulkhead. This ensure a water tight connection between the container and the reservoir. To ensure that no material gets in the siphon I have also designed a cover that lets water in but blocks most material.

My bell siphon has been designed to go in a standard Rubbermaid Bus/Utility Box that holds about 4.625 Gal. It Measures 5" x 20" x 15". The pipe has been fitted with a cap that helps get more water into the pipe and allows you to vary its hight by approximately 20mm.
